Clinical demand is high for licensed naturopathic physicians. Each year, the Naturopathic Medicine community celebrates National Naturopathic Medicine week to help raise awareness, share resources and celebrate the medicine we all so strongly believe in. In previous years, the United States ND community recognized ND Week during the month of October, however, in 2021, the Naturopathic Medical Student Association (NMSA) changed to align Naturopathic Medicine Week with the Canadian ND schools which celebrates in May. Historically, each of the North American ND schools hosts a friendly competition on social media, with the shared goal of increasing public knowledge surrounding Naturopathic Medicine and its benefits.
