Received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and then went on to naturopathic medical school at Bastyr University. Here she gained an intense interest in natural and adjunctive approaches to cancer, infectious diseases, and environmental medicine, witnessing the lack of options in the conventional treatment of these categories.
Courtney is also focused on primary care, as chronic disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, and endocrine disorders can stem as the consequences of hidden environmental triggers. In dealing with these conditions, she strives to listen deeply to her patients' issues and take into account the impact that these disorders have on one’s mental health.
